Bing Zhao

Bing Zhao leads marketing and communications for Avanci in Asia, working with local stakeholders to share the news of how Avanci is transforming how licensing is done.

A respected writer and editor with in-depth knowledge of the IP market in Asia and connections with licensors and licensees throughout the region, Bing joined Avanci after seven years at IP specialist publication IAM, latterly spending three years as its China Editor. Previously she produced IAM events and conferences in the Asia-Pacific region and began her career in research and content creation.

Bing has a BA in Communications & Political Science from Central Connecticut State University, and an MA in Asian & International Studies from the City University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and works from Avanci offices in China, Japan and South Korea.
