Takashi Fujimoto is Vice President, Licensing for Avanci in Japan Market Unit at Avanci, working with a range of stakeholders in Japan to support Avanci’s vision of transforming how patent licensing is done.
Before joining Avanci, Takashi spent more than two decades at a number of world-class, innovative companies including Toyota and Toshiba. Throughout his career, he has led complex negotiations around standard essential patents (SEPs), resolved high-stakes litigation, and advised executive teams on IP strategy, regulatory affairs, and patent risk management.
He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering from Kumamoto University. Takashi is based in Avanci’s Tokyo office.
