Jun Zhang is Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development at Avanci, where he works closely with the executive team to define and execute the company’s long-term strategy and growth initiatives.
Jun leads Avanci’s strategic planning and corporate development activities, shaping the evolution of the company’s licensing model and expansion into new markets. Since joining Avanci in 2016, he has played a central role in developing new licensing programs, aligning resources with strategic priorities, and advancing major strategic transactions that support Avanci’s continued growth.
Before Avanci, Jun was a Senior Investment Analyst at BBT Capital Management, where he focused on investments in global technology companies. He began his career in investment management and private equity, building deep expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and competitive strategy.
Jun holds a Master of Science in Physics from the California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics from Cornell University. He is bilingual in English and Chinese and is based in Dallas, Texas.
